why must man chase to ingest the poison burn of scotch?
What backwards philosophy seeks to consume that which dehydrates,
and appoints praise upon a mixture which dulls away rational.
This reason lurks behind man's thirst for what's not,
The illusion of a greener grass just one step farther.
Without mindfulness of the thoughts man learns to chase in a cage of the future, that which he sees in his past. Blindly man trusts that much work must be done in order to be satisfied. Days of toil are spent with out stretched arms, desperately trying to grab that which sits patiently with stillness.
And in this hypnotized pace how can it be so that one should truly see his brother, as more than just an obstacle of his narrow-minded road to joy. Therefore he generates within himself hellish energies, for his true nature cannot be blinded to his mannequin ignorance. Thus it becomes a cyclone of madness, and it spreads throughout the body of the universe like a disease, and consumes the harmony of peace that lies without and so within.
Therefore I mustn't be surprised at the irony of mans thirst for a toxic luxury. And so to it is fitting that he must gain a substance to numb away the dreadful reality he has painted before his eyes.
